Eric Bellquist, 41, the millionnaire banker who was arrested on Thursday for pushing a woman into an upcoming bus has been released and cleared of any involvement. He was reported to claim that he had "irrefutable proof" that he was in America at the time of that incident, implying that he could not have been the perpetrator of the pushing. He was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after a CCTV video emerged. He was bailed at first and then subsequently cleared.

A man has been arrested in conjunction with the Putney Bridge pushing. A CCTV footage (obtained from buses) had earlier shown a woman shoved to the road by a jogging man. She was almost crushed by an on-coming bus, had the driver not swerved. |
